Zion offers Sunday School for all ages each Sunday between the two divine services at 9:20 AM.

For children, there are currently three classes:

• Pre-kindergarten through 1st grade.
• 2nd grade-5th grade.
• 6th grade-12th grade.

Each class is taught by a volunteer member of the congregation. The two younger classes learn basic Bible stories and do age-appropriate activities from Concordia Publishing House’s Enduring Faith curriculum. Middle and high school students study a wide variety of topics which prepare them to apply their biblical Christian faith to the situations which confront us in daily life. Every year 6th-12th graders also devote a number of months to studying a different portion of the Bible, culminating in our Central Illinois District’s Youth Bible Bowl.

There is also an adult Bible class, taught by the pastor, which goes through various series, such as women of the Bible, world religions, specific books of the Bible, etc.
